Hey loves! So I originally had purchased the pink beautyblender® back in the summer of 2015 and did a review buuuut.. unfortunately I tried a DIY cleanser, and it was never the same again. I’d say definitely make sure to do your research if you are going to try alternative cleansers. I decided to just buy the beautyblender® solid cleanser this time and so far I love it. So expect a review on that one in the future.
I truly can tell the difference between the beautyblender® pro and the dupes. In my opinion, I agree that this makeup sponge allows you to use less product since it sits on top rather than absorbing product. If you have dry skin, this makeup sponge is the perfect application method to add in some extra moisture. It leaves my skin looking so hydrated and dewy. Also, I love that it is non-latex foam! It might seem like a splurge at $20.. but they last awhile if you take care of them.
I believe that they are most definitely a staple in a makeup kit!
The Sephora website states…
“Beautyblender Pro features an open cell structure that fills with small amounts of water when wet. This allows the sponge to be “full” so that the makeup product sits on top of the sponge rather than being absorbed, allowing you to use less product every time. When wet, beautyblender doubles in size and becomes even softer, returning to its original size when it air dries.”
Is anyone else in love with their Beauty Blender as much as I am? ❤
