Just like MAC claims, this product is super lightweight and feels great on the skin. They suggest to spray the Fix+ on your face about 12 inches away either before, after, or before and after applying makeup. Also, the spray can be used alone to help refresh skin. I find myself using this a lot when my skin looks extra dehydrated. Or I will use this not to “set” my makeup, but to help the powder sink into my skin and just blend together. Typically my favorite way to use this is for eyeshadows. When spraying a small mist on your brush, the eyeshadows pigmentation just pops. The glycerin in the formula helps to adhere the eyeshadow to your eye. This bottle is so multi purpose so it definitely is worth the splurge guys.
This shade is considered a mid-tone pinkish brown. It is definitely one of those “your lip color but better” shades. I love the formula of this lip liner. When applying, I find that I can use a light hand. The formula is just super creamy, but not too creamy that it slides everywhere. I find the product to be quite pigmented and long lasting. To be honest, this stuff stays on long after my lipstick starts to fade. If you want to pull a Kylie Jenner, you can line/fill in your lips and call it a day. I find myself doing that quite a lot. So yaaas a win win.
This is my first MAC lipstick and I must say I understand why everyone loves these. The smell alone is enough to make you want to buy one. But really though, I find that the longevity of this lipstick is great. The finish is the perfect balance of smooth and creamy. I can already tell I am going to become obsessed with these lipsticks. I spy a collection brewing in the future.
“Peach with golden shimmer”
This shade is PERFECT for light skin tones. I can imagine it would look great on anyone. It has this soft sheen glow to it that I just cannot get enough of. It is almost a combination of a blush and bronzer to me. Personally I could wear this color every day and never get sick of it. The pigmentation and quality of course is spot on. It blends super well too over cream foundations. Definitely a staple.
